The fireplace stone surround begins! The fieldstones we had harvested from crumbling sections of the ancient dry-laid stone walls hidden away in the woods now magically reassemble around our fireplace to be. Dale and Randy Bard, brothers and expert masons like their father, have an amazing feel for how each stone fits into the puzzle.
